An off-road steerable chassis for an implement whose working location changes continuously during its use and which is provided with a blade which is arranged in the longitudinal centre plane of a base frame, can be lowered and, in the lowered position, drags along in the ground, the base frame being supported on the ground via a front support and a rear support comprising at least two independently adjustable supporting elements, the front support being a steerable front wheel arranged approximately in the longitudinal centre of the base frame, and the base frame preferably being divided into a front and a rear base frame part by a vertical bending axis arranged adjacent to the blade and in front of the blade, and the front wheel being arranged on the front base frame part.
