PURPOSE:To prevent the color mixture without damaging the sensitivity of a device, by making the thickness of a light shielding part sufficiently large in a color solid-state image pickup element and intercepting the oblique incident light, which passes through a color filter element, even in the side face of the light shielding part. CONSTITUTION:A color separating filter 15 is stuck to a solid-state image pickup element 6 through an adhesive 5, and color filter elements 14R, 14G, and 14B are arranged in accordance with photosensitive parts 8R, 8G, and 8B. A light shielding film 13 is vapor-deposited to the side face of a projecting part 12 consisting of an SiO2. An oblique incident light (b) from a lens is intercepted by the light shielding film 13, and an oblique incident light b<7> is intercepted by a light shielding film 9, and a vertical incident light reaches correctly a corresponding photosensitive part 8 through color filter elements. Thus, the occurrence of color mixture is prevented. |
