PURPOSE:To obtain a cleaning edge which is less worn and can be used for a long time, by cutting a molded work consisting of a rubber elastic material with a razor and forming the cut corner part to the cleaning edge. CONSTITUTION:An elastic supporting plate 2 consisting of a phosphorbronze plate is put into one end of a molded work 1 which is obtained by flowing urethane rubber raw materials into a mold and forming it, and they are formed as one body. A slope 3 is formed on one end face of a part, where the supporting plate 2 is not extended internally, of the work 1. This work 1 is placed on a table 4 so that the slope 3 is turned up, and the work 1 is fixed on the table 4 by a fixing jig 5, and the work 1 is cut at right angles to the slope 3 by a razor 6 to form a cleaning blade 7 having a cut corner part 8. The blade 7 is so arranged that the angle of a cut face 9 to a photosensitive drum 10 is smaller than the angle of other faces to the drum 10, and the corner part 8 is brought into contact with the drum 10 as the cleaning edge, and thus, the contact pressure is reduced, and the wear is lessened, and the cleaning edge is used for a long time. |
