PURPOSE:To realize excellent fixing with less energy consumption, by using a developing agent containing at least polyester resin in bounding resin-like materials as a developing agent. CONSTITUTION:A developing agent which contains at least polyester resin in bounding resin-like materials is used as the developing agent. When a toner picture which is developed on or transferred to a recording material, such as paper is pressed, thereafter, subjected to the irradiation of optical energy preferably with 60-120kg/cm<2> and 0.5-1.0J/cm<2> energy, the picture can have an extremely excellent fixing property. In the case of the pressure fixing, two or three metallic rolls made of a light metal, such as aluminium, are usually used as the fixing rolls. Light rolls made of the alloy of aluminium, plastic, etc., can also be used for the fixing rolls. Therefore, fixing works can be carried out with the less energy consumption and high-speed fixing can be realized. |
