PURPOSE:To lessen unevenness of thickness in the drawing direction of polyethylene films by molding a mixture composed of specific amounts of a linear low- density polyethylene resin and a specifically branched low-density polyethylene resin into a film by T-die method at 200-280 deg.C. CONSTITUTION:In a mixer, e.g., Banbury mixer, etc., 90-60pts.wt. a linear low- density polyethylene resin obtained from copolymerization of ethylene and 1- butene is mixed with 10-40pts.wt. a branched low-density polyethylene resin having a melt index of 1-6g/10min and the product of 5-15g<2>/10min of (melt index X melt tension) to form a resin composition. Then, the resin composition is molded into a film of a thickness of 20-150mu by a T-die method at 200- 280 deg.C (resin temperature). Thus, films free of unevenness of thickness in the drawing direction and having high impact resistance and high transparency can be obtained. |
