Apparatus for reversing the direction of rotation of cassette drives

To solve problems of space requirements and wear, an electric reversing motor is used for reversing the direction of rotation of cassette drives by bringing a single intermediate wheel (2) alternately into engagement with a gear wheel (13) on the one winding spindle and a gear wheel (14) on the other winding spindle in the end positions of a planet wheel-like swivelling for this purpose on a carrier (5). A tooth segment (8) guiding the intermediate wheel (2) serves to complete the automatic swivelling when the motor is reversed. The said segment may be movably guided and equipped with a lifting cam (20), which is acted on in a way dependent on the swivelling movement of the intermediate wheel carrier (5); its movement can be used for the actuation of further control elements of the cassette apparatus.
