PURPOSE:To make a device easy to handle, miniaturized and inexpensive, by performing the exposures of the first light image and the second light image prior to the first development. CONSTITUTION:A recording material consisting of a conductive substrate 1, an optical conductive mareial 2 and a transparent insulating layer 3 is electrically charged uniformly. Electric charge of the same polarity is performed at the same time as irradiation of the first liqht image E1, and the surface of this recording materal is charged uniformly. When the second light image E2 is exposed, electric charge is moved from the substrate 1 on an optical conductive layer on which light is irradiated and electric potential at this part is lowered. When this is devoloped by the surface charge and a toner of same polarity, the toner is stuck onto the part where light of the second light image E2 is irradiated and an inverted picture is obtained. When the surface of the recording mateial is optically irradiated uniformly, the difference electric potential in accordance with the first light image is displayed. When this is developed by the surface charge and the second toner of same polarity, the toner is stuck onto the lighted part of the light image E1 and the second inverted picture is obtained. By such a way, a two-color toner image is formed on the surface of the recording material. |
