The subject of this application are examples of agents effecting the expansion of substances in the hollow space for tensioning the tensioning body. Suitable for this are: swelling agents and liquids changing from the liquid state into the gaseous state as well as substances increasing their volume through chemical transformation, as well as by polymerisation, for example inorganic or organic substances developing in a lattice-like three-dimensional manner and substances increasing their volume by crystallisation and restructurings of added macromolecules by polyaddition of polymer chains and by "van der Waals forces". Such substances include, inter alia, comminuted wood, polyvinyl chlorides, polyamides, carbon dioxide, calcium carbonate, metal powders and acids, expanded concrete and gypsum, polarised solvents, blowing agents evolving gases.
