PURPOSE:To open a shutter in operation and to close the shutter in pause, by providing a sheath for the shutter of a cartridge, and switching the shutter with a nail of a disc driver in holding the sheath. CONSTITUTION:A disc 10 is contained in a disc cartridge case 1. Both sides of the case 1 are provided with the shutter 3 switching holes for recording and reproduction and a shutter 4 covering a rotary shaft. Those are held with a cover 2 freely slidably. The shutters 3, 4 cover notches of the cartridge and the cover 2 not in operation. In inserting the cartridge to a guide 20, the nail 8 and the sheath 5 are latched and the shutters 3, 4 are opened. In unloading the cartridge, the closing nail 9 and the sheath 5 are latched and the shutters 3, 4 are closed. |
