Valve for the alternative connection of a consumer to a pressure-medium source or a supply tank

A valve serves to connect a consumer to a pressure-medium source (5) or a supply tank (7). In order to favourably design such a valve in a simple manner, a sleeve-shaped valve member (10) having a lateral control bore (13) can be moved in a valve housing (1), the open side of which valve member (10) is permanently connected to a consumer connection (3) and on the base (11) of which remote from the consumer connection (3) a valve spring (16) acts which attempts to hold the valve member in a position in which its control bore is connected to a source connection (6) arranged in the housing and connected to the pressure-medium source. Provided in the housing is a supply connection (8) to which the control bore of the valve member can be connected when this control bore is separated from the source connection. A restriction point (12) is located between the consumer connection and the supply connection. The supply connection can be separated from and connected to the supply tank as desired by means of a shut-off member (9). <IMAGE>
