<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate handling of an aerator in extremely cold climatic areas by providing a partition wall of a rectangular shape perpendicular in a longitudinal direction at the intermediate of a tank of a oblong shape and providing an underwater aerator in the end part of the partition wall or in the lower part except the end part. CONSTITUTION:A partition wall 2 of a rectangular shape is provided in a tank 1 of a oblong shape along the longitudinal direction roughly in the middle of said tank. An underwater aerator 3 is provided in lower part near one end of the wall 2, and a guiding plate 4 having an arc shape is provided along the curved surface of the tank 1 provided on the concentricity with the end of the wall 2 as an axis, whereby a water treating device is constituted. Said water treating device converts aeration by the underwater aeration and the absolute velocity generated by the aerator to water flow in the water course direction by utilizing the end part of the partition wall. If a vane or the like is used in combination as a means of converting said adsolute velocity to the water flow in the water course direction, said velocity is converted efficiently.</p> |
