PURPOSE:To enable sure displacement of the main body of an outboard engine, by constituting the operation circuit of the tilt lock device of the outboard engine by a reservoir, a pump, an absorber valve, check valves, etc. CONSTITUTION:When an obstacle collides with an outboard engine, a piston rod 20 is drawn in the stretching direction, the pressure in the second chamber 22 of a cylinder 19 rises, an absorber valve 38 operates to open, and the oil in the second chamber 22 is discharged into a reservoir 23. At this time, the first chamber 21 of the cylinder 19 is to absorb the oil via the first check valve 31 of a switching device 30 and a check valve 41 of a manual switching device 40. However, since the open-valve pressure of each of the first check valve 31 and the check valve 41 is higher than the absorbing pressure of the first chamber 21, each of the check valves 31 and 41 is kept in the state of closure, and thus the first chamber 21 is put in the state of negative pressure. A shock caused by the collision is thereby absorbed, and thus the main body of the outboard motor can be displaced surely with a simple operation circuit. |
