PURPOSE:To contrive to prevent a human body at seat sliding from being pressured with a belt by a method wherein a lock mechanism is provided in a seat belt winding device which enables to free from locking at sudden belt sliding operation. CONSTITUTION:In a lock mechanism 30 of a seat belt winding device, when an operating lever 20 is at non-operational position a contact part 24a of a control member 24 is located at an engagement-releasing position which is released from a pawl member 14 as shown with a mark A, meanwhile, when the operating lever 20 is at operational position, the contact part 24a is fixed at a position contacted by being pressured to the pawl member 14 from upward as shown with a mark B. Thereby, at the condition which the seat is fixed as impossible to slide, the pawl member 14 is rotated on the axis of a pin 18 due to the member 24 being located at position A, consequently, when the winding device is applied sudden deceleration by a car crush and the like, a pendulum member 12 is swung, lifts up the pawl 14 and locks it against the force of the spring 19, thus, the human body is locked. |
