PURPOSE:To elevate and stabilize a linear working efficiency of a straight line machine and its working quality, by keeping a die interval constant, by controlling the push-in quantity and rotational frequency of a correcting die to those which are suitable, automatically, exactly and quickly in accordance with a quality of material, a linear diameter and a linear velocity. CONSTITUTION:A controlling device 8 controls a motor 6 and sets a linear veloc ity of a wire rod 4 by feed rolls 1, 2 and 3 to a set linear velocity. Also, when a quality of material is inputted, the device 8 calculates and sets rotational frequency of a die, and rotates a correcting die in a housing by suitable rotational frequency by controlling a motor 16. The device 8 stops the housing at a fixed position by an input signal D from a transducer 30, and after that, a pulse motor 31 is advanced and is connected to a die moving mechanism, the motor 31 is controlled, and the die is set to a suitable push-in quantity corresponding to the quality of material and the linear diameter. In this way, the wire rod 4 is moved at a set speed, and during that time, it is corrected and linearized by correcting rolls 9, 12 which have been set to suitable roll rolling reduction, die push-in quantity and die rotational frequency, and a rotary correcting die system straightening device 15. |
