PURPOSE:To obtain the titled device capable of applying to an automobile with small diameter wheels by a method wherein the flange of a hub device body is pushed into the side of a brake drum and the side is pressed from the outside by a rim where the center hole surface abuts on the outer periphery of the body to shorten the axial length. CONSTITUTION:The flange 25 of the body 23 is inserted into the bored hole 10b set on the side of the brake drum 10, the curved part 27 of the rim 26 is pushed against the outside of the flange 25 and at the same time the central hole surface 28 of the rim 26 is made to abut on the outer peripheral surface 29 of the body 23. This rim 26 is fixed by the tire fixing bolt 39 and nut 31 to the brake drum 10. In this manner, since the flange 25 of the body 23 is pressed against the side of the brake drum 10, the axial length can be shortened by the thickness of the flange 25, thereby the device can be applied to the automobile with small diameter wheels. |
