PURPOSE:To prevent the interference of mutual reception, by stopping the power supply to a local oscillator in a television broadcast reception circuit of others when a television broadcast is received, in a television receiver incorporating the circuit for SHF satellite television broadcast reception and the circuit for UHF or VHF television broadcast reception. CONSTITUTION:To select either the SHF satellite television or the U/V television broadcast, a switching device 15 is activated with a changeover switch 17, and the switching of a power supply generator 32 is done for an FM demodulation circuit 9 or an U/V television signal processing circuit 12. In the case, in switching the switch 15 to apply an SHF signal to a cathode-ray tube 16 from a terminal 10 with a changeover switch 17 of 13, the power supply voltage from the generator 32 switched interlockingly so that the power supply voltage is applied to the FM demodulation circuit 9 for the SHF reception only. Thus, in receiving the SHF with the switch 17, the power supply to a tuner 28 of an U/V reception circuit 12 is turned off. |
