摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce a hot crack, by slightly shifting a welding center line to the side of a 36% Ni-Fe alloy steel plate from a butt joint line. CONSTITUTION:When butt-welding a steel plate 1 of 36% Ni-Fe alloy steel , and a steel plate 2 of a austenitic stainless steel, in case of welding them from the beginning, a butt joint line 3 of both the materials 1, 2 is made a reference line, and they are melt-welded by shifting a welding center line 5A to the side of the 36% Ni-Fe alloy steel plate 1 from this joint line 3. Also, in case when a welded bead 4 is formed on the butt joint line 3, or in its vicinity, the center line of width of the welded bead 4 is made a reference line, and said materials are melt-welded by shifting the welding center line 5A to the side of the 36% Ni-Fe alloy steel plate from the center line 3 of width of this welded bead.
