PURPOSE:To comparatively gradually open a pressure compensating valve by a structure wherein the pressure compensating valve is resiliently thrusted in the direction to close a flow passage by means of a spring, while the fluid pressure in an inflowing port is applied through a pilot circuit equipped with a throttle, which is allowed to be moved toward the direction to open the flow passage, to the pressure compensating valve. CONSTITUTION:Once fluid flows in an inflowing port 2, the fluid pressure in the inflowing port 2 is applied through the pilot circuit 10 to the end of the pressure compensating valve 5 in order to move the pressure compensating valve 5 in the direction to open a variable orifice 6 against a spring 8. The movement of the valve 5 is comparatively slow, because the flow rate to the pilot circuit 10 is restricted by the action of a throttle 9, resulting in preventing a vast amount of fluid from flowing from the inflowing port 2 to an outflowing port 3. In addition, the fluid pressure in the pilot circuit 10 is applied to the end of a relief valve 11. When the force due to the pressure applied to the end of the relief valve 11 is larger than the sum of the elastic force of a spring 14 arranged at the opposite end of the valve 11 and the force in the outflowing port 3, a connecting passage, which is communicated to the pilot circuit 10, is connected to a tank 13. |
