The present invention concerns an arrangement for supplying a slurry 12 or a liquid containing particles to the inside of a rotating drum 1, via a pipe 8 leading to the inside of the drum, and whose shell 3 has flow- through openings 2 for separation of liquid 14 from the slurry 12, which is fed along the drum 1 by means of a screw-shaped flange element 11, driven along in rotational movement with the drum and projecting from the drum shell 3. The invention enables effective supply of slurry 12 etc. along a considerable portion of the inner shell surface of the drum. An arrangement exists for introducing slurry under pressure into said pipe 8, 37, extending along the shell surface at the inside of the drum at a distance from said flange element 11, to a plurality of nozzles 38 distributed along the supply pipe 37, which are arranged to spread the slurry 12, supplied to the nozzles 38, essentially evenly divided on a surface 39 dictated by each nozzle, in the direction of and at an angle to the drum shell 3. <IMAGE> |
