<p>PURPOSE:To ensure the prescribed track tracing performance in an easy way, by setting a tape guide at a prescribed position and at a prescribed angle, and therefore feeding in and pulling out a magnetic tape in the direction where an angle of elevation is formed, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A tape 6 have its travelling route which forms angles theta1 and theta2 of elevation at the incoming and outgoing sides respectively to a lead 1c of a cylinder 1 as shown by a route 6-(b) to the route 6-(a) on the basis of a geometric design. Then the tape 6-(b) is pressed along the lead 1c from both sides of the cylinder 1 to be deformed. Thus the tape takes a route 6-(c). Under such conditions, the tape 6 receives forces P1 and P2 at inlet and outlet ends B1 and B2 of the lead 1c and is bent so that the bending angles theta1 and theta2 are obtained at the ends B1 and B2 respectively. That is, the tape 6 is pressed to the lead face at the ends B1 and B2 by the forces P1 and P2 respectively.</p> |
