PURPOSE:To correct the unbalance of a floating gap of a core slider, by putting a spacer of a prescribed thickness into the attaching part of a gimbal assembled body and an arm. CONSTITUTION:A gimbal assembled body 8 is installed to an arm 10, and a core slider 2 is set up at the same position as that in the working state. under such conditions, a tilt angle DELTAtheta is measured between the floating surface 9 of the slider 2 and the surface of a magnetic disk. Then a spacer 11 having a thickness corresponding to the angle DELTAtheta is put into the installing part of the body 8 and the arm 10. Thus the unbalance can be corrected for the floating gap between the slider 2 and the surface of the magnetic disk. |
