A main control unit 2 drives a machining developing unit 10 to decide a finally machined shape of the groove 16a from the information INF, decide a rough machining line expected with a finishing margin and set boundary points PA-PH of each section of chamfered part, diagonal face, corner part, bottom part. If the locus of a tool in each section is decided, the tool is controlled by a cutting condition control unit 15 and machining control unit 16 to perform groove machining.</p>
