PURPOSE:To report accurately required warnings and indications to a photographer with voice, by weighting information for camera state discrimination in accordance with the degree of improtance to control the automatic operation of a voice transmitting device. CONSTITUTION:For example, in the state with a lens cap attached, photometric information from a photometric circuit 3 passing through a time limiting circuit 4, a luminance circuit 5, etc. is weighted by IC circuits IC3-IC6 forming a comparing circuit and is applied to an encoder ENC through gates G1-G4. A digital memory MEM is accessed by the output of the encoder, and a voice alarm is reported by the automatic operation of the voice transmitting device. If the warning of camera shake is required, the memory MEM is not accessed by the output of the encoder ENC, and the voice alarm is not generated. In this case, if contents of the warning due to an LED or the like are indistinct, the output of the encoder is changed by closing of a switch SW 7 to access the memory MEM, and a voice warning is performed. Thus, required warnings and indications are reported accurately to the photographer with voice. |
