PURPOSE:To contrive the mass-production of a halving joint member by providing predetermined folded edges respectively on the both side ends of a coil material to form a halving joint while continuously supplying the coil material said halving joint member and simultaneously cutting it in order. CONSTITUTION:Folded edges are provided on the side edgrs (a), (b) of a supplied coil material with a molding roll, etc., and a halving joint member A is formed. Said halving joint A member is transferred to and introduced into a cutting device as it is, and a die 5 having shapes in accord with those of the faces O, P of the side edge (a) is pressed to said halving joint member from the outside, and simultaneously a cutter 3 is pulled to the side. Using blade parts 3b, 3c, 3d, the faces P and O are cut at a stroke into the same shape, and thereby the cutting strain and burr, etc., of the side edge (a) can be certainly prevented, permitting the mass-production. |
