PURPOSE:To enhance dark decay resistance, sensitivity, etc., by adding a combination of a specified proportion of a specified styryl dye base and a specified oxazole or pyrazoline deriv. to a charge transfer layer, and laminating said layer and a charge generating layer contg. an org. pigment. CONSTITUTION:A charge transfer layer contains 0.05-30wt% styryl dye base represented by formulaIin which R1-R4 are each H, halogen, alkyl, aralkyl, acyl, OH, optionally substd. phenyl and R5, R6 are each H or alkyl, and further, an oxazole deriv. having formula II in which R7-R9 are each H, alkyl, alkenyl, or phenyl optionally substd. by NH2, alkyl-substd. amino, or the like; or a pyrazoline deriv. having formula III in which R10 is H, alkyl, aryl, allylaryl, R11 is H, alkyl, or aryl, and R12, R13 are each is H, optionally substd. phenyl, or heterocyclic. A photoreceptor obtained by laminating this charge transfer layer and a charge generating layer has small dark decay, high sensitivity, and long useful life. |
