PURPOSE:To also exchange a tool with a work exchanging robot, by bringing out the tool from a tool magazine and then placing the tool on an attitude corrector to correct its attitude further conveying the tool to a tool slide. CONSTITUTION:A work magazine 19 and tool magazine 22 are provided in the side of a lathe 11 equipped with a rotatively driven chuck 14 and a tool slide 16 equipped with an automatic tool clamping device, then a work 12 and tool 20a are conveyed by a conveying robot 17 provided above the chuck. A supporting plate 23 is provided to the side of the magazine 22, and a pallet 235 equipped with a tool positioning member in the upper side is provided movably in a horizontal plane above the plate 23 further urged by a spring so as to be always reset to the original position. The tool 20a on the magazine 22 is placed on the pallet 235 by the rotor 17, after correction of an attitude of the tool, again held by the robot and conveyed to the slide 16. |
