PURPOSE:To obtain an electrostatic type electro-acoustic transducer having excellent acoustic characteristics, by fixing at least one weight to a vibrating film. CONSTITUTION:An electret layer 11a having a self-polarizing function is stuck to the surface of one side of a fixed electrode 11 made of a disk-shaped conductive material. Many sound holes 11b are formed corresponding to the electrode 11 and the layer 11a. An audio signal is applied from outside to vibrate a vibrating film 13 in accordance with the audio signal. The film 13 area where a weight 15 is fixed becomes easily a node owing to the mass of the weight 15. Therefore a peak or dip having a large high-pitched sound range can be reduced in the frequency-sound pressure characteristics. |
