PURPOSE:To separate a transfer paper stably, by using a scorotron electrode as a separating electrode and applying a voltage corresponding to the surface potential of a photoreceptor after projection of an original picture to the grid of the scorotron electrode. CONSTITUTION:In a recorder, the surface potential of a photoreceptor 1 is detected after the original picture is exposured. A potential corresponding to the surface potential of the photoreceptor is applied to the grid electrode of a separating electrode 6 using the scorotron electrode to control the potential of the transfer paper in accordance with the surface potential of the photoreceptor. That is, a voltage approximately equal to the surface potential of the photoreceptor is applied to the grid of the scorotron electrode on a basis of the detection of the surface potential of the photoreceptor due to a detecting sensor 9 to control the destaticization of the transfer paper in accordance with the potential of the photoreceptor even if an original is switched to a photographic original or a character original, and thus, the transfer paper is separated stably. |
