PURPOSE:To accurately perform positioning of a work during its conveyance, by providing a positioning device equipped with a positioning pin on the half way in which the work radially provided with a prepared hole in the periphery is held and conveyed from a chute to a machining position. CONSTITUTION:A work 5 is roughly aligned with the direction by a chute 21 equipped with a positioning protrusion on a slide surface, rotatably held to the point end of a rod 15 moved forward by a cylinder 10 and conveyed to an intermediate stop position IV. Here a wedge 28 of a positioning device is lowered and inserted into a prepared hole formed in the periphery of the work to perform correct positioning. Then the rod 15 is further moved forward by a cylinder 10a to adapt the work 5 to a reference block 30 and support the work by a rotary pawl 33. After the prepared hole of the work 5 is machined finally by a broach 1, the pawl 33 is rotated to index the next prepared hole. |
