发明名称 SYNTHESIZING METHOD FOR BERYL CRYSTAL BY F-Z METHOD
摘要 PURPOSE:To grow a beryl crystal at a high speed in the stage of synthesizing said crystal by using flux pellets made from a raw material substance of which a satd. equil. state is beforehand assured to modiby an F.Z system and controlling the bearing of a seed crystal. CONSTITUTION:Powder having a compsn. of 3BeO.Al2O3.6SiO2.0.005Cr2O3 is added with mixed powder of LiOH and V2O5 having high purity, and the mixture is molded and sintered to form disc-like flux pellets. The flux pellets are placed on a seed crystal set in an F.Z furnace, and are brought into contact with a raw material blank bar of a sintered body consisting of 3BeO.Al2O3. 6SiO2.0.005Cr2O3, and while the flux is melted, a crystal is grown. By such method, the crystal having no inclusions is synthesized easily. Since the growth of the crystal progresses at the interface of the melt and the crystal, the lower crystal body is usable as it is as an emerald crystal body if the flux solid is cut off.
