摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To effectively recover NH3 from residue produced in the extraction of an Mn component from reduced Mn ore with an NH4 carbamate soln., by thermally decomposing the residue and by reacting generated NH3 with CO2 generated in the same stage of other stage. CONSTITUTION:MnO2 ore is converted into reduced Mn ore (MnO) in a reducing furnace, the Mn component is extracted with an NH4 carbamate soln., and the extracting soln. is decomposed and filtered to manufacture MnCO3. Prior to extraction with sulfuric acid, residue produced in the extraction is heated in an external heating type rotary kiln to generate gaseous NH3 by decomposition. The gaseous NH3 is allowed to be absorbed in tail liquor after collecting the manufactured MnCO3. By blowing gaseous CO2 into the absorbing liquor, the NH3 is reacted with the CO2 to prepare an NH4 carbamate soln., and the soln. is used in extraction from reduced Mn ore. The CO2 source is CO2 generated from the same decomposition stage or a subsidiary or adjacent stage for manufacturing MnO2 by electrolysis.</p>
