PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-sensitive recording sheet having excellent coloring sensitivity and good storage stability even under high-temperature and wet conditions by using a chromogenic lactone compound, an acid substance, and a sensitizer pretreated with a hydrophobic film-forming agent. CONSTITUTION:Three kinds of paints are obtained by adding, grinding, and dispersing a chromogenic lactone compound (e.g., Crystal violet lactone, etc.), 2-30pts.wt. (based on one pt. wt. lactone compound) an acid substance (e.g., bisphenol A, etc.), 0.05-2pts.wt. (based on one pt.wt. acid substance) a sensitizer (e.g., phenyl benzoate, etc.), and 0.1-10pts.wt. (based on one pt.wt. sensitizer) a hydrophobic film-forming agent (e.g., stearic acid amide, etc.) in respective aqueous solutions of a water-soluble high molecular compound. These paints are mixed together and then coated on a supporter. |
