PURPOSE:To reduce generation of noise and vibration of a pump, by constituting distances from a plane passing the centers of both spur gears to a suction side clearance groove and to a delivery side clearance groove to be respectively in a specified value and surely preventing a closing phenomenon. CONSTITUTION:A distance BS from a plane passing through the centers of both spur gears 4, 5 to a suction side clearance groove 10 and a distance Bd from that to a delivery side groove 11, which prevent a closing phenomenon caused between meshed teeth of the gears 4, 5, are constituted to be respectively a specified value. In this way, the grooves 10, 11 correctly correspond to meshing positions of two sets of teeth 4a, 5a and 4b, 5b on the basis of tooth crest diameters of the both gears 4, 5, and a closing phenomenon caused between meshed teeth respectively at simul taneous meshing of the both gears 4, 5 can be surely prevented to both avoid generation of a noise and vibration of a pump and prevent generation of bubbles in fluid, then an efficiencty decrease of the pump can be prevented. |
