Mono:phosphoric thiamine ester prepn.

摘要

Mono-phosphoric ester of thiamine is prepd. by reaction of thiamine chlorohydrate with excess activated phosphoric acid in anhydrous medium, at 60-120 deg.C for 2-6 hrs. The ester is purified by pptn. with acetone and ethanol to give a white crystalline solid of formula (I) where X1(-) is H2PO4(-) or Cl(-); X2 is water or hydrochloric acid. - (I) has therapeutic use in humans.
