PURPOSE:To restrict the transferred vibration, so as to lower the noise level, by providing an upper mount connection part of a mounting bracket of an open deck type cylinder block, at the lower deck side, and by providing a lower mount connection part thereof at the bottom brim of a skirt part. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder block 11 is of open deck type, in which an upper deck is not provided for the sake of metal mold casting, and a mounting bracket 12 is attached to the both sides of the cylinder block 11 with bolts 13 along the almost middle line of the fore-and-aft span of the cylinder block 11. An upper mount connection part 14 that is connected to an upper part of the mounting bracket 12 is installed at a side of the lower deck 15, while a lower mount connection part 16 that is connected to a lower part of the mounting bracket 12 is installed at the bottom brim of a skirt part 17 in the form of one body with an oil pan fitting flange 18. |
