PURPOSE:To reduce load on a feed roller for transporting the sheets by releasing the pressure using a trigger roll immediately after the leading edge of every sheet passed the feed roller. CONSTITUTION:The magnet part 10 of a solenoid is installed rotatably at an appropriate position of the ceiling of a lid 5, and this magnet part 10 is coupled with the central part of a sheet pressing lever 6 using a hinge. Actuator 13 of a microswitch 12 is protruded just in front of a pair of feed rollers 9, and the solenoid is driven by signal from microswitch 12 immediately after the leading edge of every sheet is biten by the feed rollers 9, to heave the pressing lever 6. Thus the pressure working between the retard member and feed rollers can be lessened and wear of the rollers' surfaces and production of paper dust reduced. |
