PURPOSE:To prevent a brush and a collector ring from defective contact caused by intrusion of dust and maintain insulation from other non-conductive metal portions for eliminating danger of electric shock caused by short-circuit, by providing an annular wall located outside the brush on the bottom wall of a case. CONSTITUTION:Brushes 25, 26 connected to a cord of an apparatus body are attached to the bottom wall 1' of a case 1 and an annular wall 28 is erected outside these brushes. The annular wall 28 formed integrally with the case 1 and made of an insulating material is provided on a portion opposed to one end 15 of an engaging piece 17 with a recess 29 for receiving the end 15. To the interior of a take-up drum 7a of a reel 3 are attached collector rings 23, 24 connected to an end of the cord 5 so that brushes 25, 26 slidably contact with the collector rings 23, 24 as the reel 3 rotates. Thus, dust tending to intrude into the case 1 through an opening 10 of the case 1 is blocked by the annular wall 28. |
