PURPOSE:To prevent the noise of a car engine by constructing a front cover for the car engine in one body with a pulley cover part to cover a pulley for driving an auxiliary machine. CONSTITUTION:A lower cover 6b is shaped in its section into a U-letter by a bottom wall part 12 and a side wall part 13. At the top of a crank shaft side, the bottom wall part 12 is gained into a semicircular shape, and approximately at the center of the crank shaft, the side wall part 13 is cut and formed into an open type. A pulley cover part 14 is formed in one body to be projected by one step from the bottom wall part 12, and covers a front end face and the upper half of the periphery of a pulley 8 for driving an auxiliary machine without touching a timing belt or a chain 5 to prevent the noise of a car engine. |
