PURPOSE:To improve the conversion efficiency with a simple device by constituting a wave power generating device with a wheel running on a guide rail in a cylindrical container fitted to a mount on a floating body, a generator mounted on the wheel through a one-way cluth and a moving unit letting a generator stator follow the travel of the wheel. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical container 3 is fitted on a mount 2 supported by a floating body 1. A guide rail 6 is provided longitudially in the container 3, and a wheel 18 is mounted rotatably on this rail through a one-way clutch 17 and the wheel 18 is fixed to the rotary shaft 13 of the generator. A rotor core 16 coupled with the rotary shaft 13 is faced to a stator core 11 and is stored in a generator frame 7. Shocks by collision of the frame 7 being moved left and right in the cylindrical container 3 by waves are damped by shock absorbers 5 provided at both ends of the container. |
