PURPOSE:To discriminate a temperature-measuring range from picture signals by taking out a reference temperature signal in the picture signals by sampling. CONSTITUTION:A reference temperature signal is contained in picture signals which are obtained by regeneration from VTR8. These picture signals are sent to a thermography device 10, a sample hold circuit 11 and a synchronous separation circuit 12. The circuit 12 separates a synchronizing signal therefrom, and this signal is delayed by a delay circuit so as to be superposed on the reference temperature signal and is sent to the circuit 11. Based on that signal, the circuit 11 holds the level of the reference temperature signal, and the output thereof is sent to a level discrimination circuit 14. The circuit 14 discriminates the level of the reference temperature signal, and any one of lamps 18-20 is lighted to indicate a range through the intermediary of a lighting circuit 17. |
