PURPOSE:To make it possible to always spread piece goods accurately as well as effectively perform an opposing inside-outside spreading operation by providing a horizontally rotatable supporting base, a piece goods spreading roll, a belt conveyor, a feed roll and a spreading assisting roll on a piece goods spreading machine. CONSTITUTION:A catcher 3 is provided on the top surface of a bench 1, and a piece goods spreading machine body 4 is allowed to advance toward and retreat from the catcher 3. On the shaft of the spreading machine body 4, horizontally rotatable supporting base 6 is rotatably supported, and on this supporting base 6 the piece goods unfastening roll 9 is rotatably supported. Further, below the piece goods unfastening roll 9, a spreading assisting roll 10 is rotatably supported, and long piece goods 7 unfastened in order by the unfastening roll 9 are once brought in contact with the spreading assisting roll 10 and guided by it, and sent downward and delivered onto the bench 1 by a belt conveyor 11 in order. If it is necessary to draw out long piece goods 7 with a feed roll 13 while reversing them as in an operation where the opposing inside and outside of the piece goods are reversed and spread, it is possible to automatically and effectively perform this kind of the spreading work only by horizontally turning and driving the supporting base 6. |
