Soluble derivatives of N-(4-hydroxy phenyl) acetamide, of formula (I) where R1 and R2 are various radicals, are prepd. by reaction of N-(4-hydroxyphenyl) acetamide with formaldehyde and chlorohydrates of sec. amines (R1NHR2) in alcoholic or hydro-alcoholic medium, at 40-80 deg.C. - Prod. has pharmacological use as antipyretic-analgesic agents.
