摘要 <p>The manipulator for use with an automatic assembly system has a slide (5) which can be moved in either of two opposite directions along each of two mutually perpendicular axes. The slide is mounted on parallel guides in a frame (4). - An endless belt (12) attached to the slide is driven from a pulley (11) which can slide on a square section driving shaft (10). The frame runs on guides (19) arranged at right angles to the slide guides. The frame is driven by endless belts (20,21) which are driven by a motor (8). A separate motor (7) drives the square section shaft.
