PURPOSE:To obtain a conveyance performance in accordance with an increase of the revolution speed of a conveyance screw by encircling the carrier screw exposed part at the top edge part of a screw conveyor by an inverted-cone type hopper and installing a bucket at the upper position of said hopper. CONSTITUTION:When a screw conveyor 13 is lowered with a bucket wheel 5 in revolution, a scraper is forced to intrude into bulk material by the wedge effect of a hopper 10, and scrapes-off the bulk material on the periphery of a bucket 12 with said bucket and takes the material into the scraper itself. The bulk material taken-in is slided down into the bottom part of the hopper 10 and then unloaded and conveyed by a carrier screw 4. Even if the bulk material tends to be tightly harden and fixed, the fluidity is improved once it is scraped off so the bulk material stored in the hopper 10 is slided down into its bottom part in succession, guided by the tapered part of the hopper 10. |
