PURPOSE:To decrease the recording time, by omitting the recording operation of a line and a block, when no black signal exists in a picture signal of one line and one block in the line. CONSTITUTION:A recording signal forming circuit 1 inputs a picture signal from a terminal 2 to a line memory 4 as a one-line recording signal sequentially. The memory 4 transmits the recording signal at each one block in one line to a latch circuit 9 via a shift register 6. A control circuit 3 controls the said operation, selects one block of a recording head 15 including a thermo sensing head 12 for one line's share and records the recording signal from the latch circut 9 on a print paper. An FF7 detects the absence of the black signal in one line and an FF8 detects the absence of black signal in one block. The circuit 3 renews the content of the line memory 4 or of the register 6 immediately when no black signal exists in one line or one block and controls each section so that the recording operation during the revision. |
