PURPOSE:To improve accuracy of forming and to reduce time for change of roll arrangement by containing roll forming tools arranged in multiple stages in a case and spraying cooling liquid into the case. CONSTITUTION:A cover plate 16 is closed to seal up a case 3 and at the same time, a band steel inserted from the inlet 24 is formed by a roll forming tool 2 and the roll formed product (b) is sent out from the outlet 25. At this time, elastic plates 23 are provided at the inlet 24 and outlet 25 to improve sealing effect. Then, a pressure sending device 32 is driven to spray cooling liquid from a nozzle 4 and inside of the case 3 is filled with the spray and cooled uniformly to prevent seizure and thermal deformation of the movable roll 6, stationary roll 7, band steel etc., and to improve accuracy of forming. During forming work, depending on the condition of finishing, the roll 6 is adjusted with a screw shaft 10, and the cooling liquid is passed through a returning pipe from a liquid discharge port 35 and circulated. By opening the cover 16, arrangement of rolls 6, 7 etc. can be changed easily. |
