PURPOSE:To manufacture a very thin dial having no bend, by holding the outside circumferential part of a substrate-like member to which tension can be provided, by upper and lower, or inside and outside frames. CONSTITUTION:The outside circumferential part of a substrate-like member 1 constituted of a very thin material to which tension can be provided is held by a frame body 2. On an upper frame 3 and a lower frame 4 for constituting the frame body 2, a recessed part 3a and a projecting part 4a are provided, and between them, the substrate-like member 1 is placed, they are made to adhere to each other as one body and are incorporated in a drum 5 of a clock case. A base material 16 of a dial held by a frame 17 is clamped by members 18, 19 and a screw 21 and is extended sufficiently. By making the frame body 2 adhere onto the base material 16 in this state, or cutting off that which has been pinched by the frame body 2, the base material 16 is fitted to the frame body 2. In this way, a very thin dial can be manufactured by holding the substrate-like member 1 to which tension is provided, by the frame body 2. |
