A retaining body (1) consists of a hollow profiled section which is of square cross-section and consists, for example, of metal or plastic. Constructed at one end of all four side walls (3, 5 and 6) are flaps (7, 9 and 10) which are bent somewhat towards the interior of the hollow profile. A recessed attachment hole (11) is provided in the side wall (6) in order to attach the retaining body (1) to a wall. A retaining bracket is essentially of U-shaped construction and has a web (13) as well as two limbs (14 and 15). Outwardly projecting latching tabs (16) are provided on both limbs (14 and 15). Said latching tabs (16) engage under the flaps (9) when the bracket (2) is inserted, and thus prevent the bracket (2) being pulled out of the retaining body (1). <IMAGE>
