PURPOSE:To reduce size and horse power by attaching a pair of roll bodies which are formed with recesses in the central parts, and are provided with meshing parts on the peripheral surfaces pivotally so as to rotate mutually inward and intruding one of a pair of crushing rolls of which the meshing parts of both mate during rotating and which rotate mutually in proximity with said roll bodies into the above-mentioned recesses respectively. CONSTITUTION:When an empty can is charged into a hoppter 5 and an electric motor 4 is started, the empty can falls onto roll bodies 7, 7a, and rotates as the can is meshed in the meshing parts, 13, 14, 13a, 14a of the bodies 7, 7a which rotate mutually, then the can is transferred to primary crushing rolls 16, 16a. The rolls 16, 16a crush the central part of the empty can. The uncrushed parts on both sides are crushed by the next secondary crushing rolls 18, 18a. The can is made into a flat plate shape by the mutual revolutions of finishing rolls 21, 21a in the final stage in the bottom end part and is dropped into a receiving box 6. |
