摘要 The invention "arrangement for testing contact lenses and progressive lenses" describes a method for testing the material homogeneity and surface geometry of optical components. The method works according to the basic arrangement of Fig. 1. The test object (TL) is transilluminated by a wave front (WF) generated by the laser and expanded. The emerging wave front is transformed by means of the lens (FL1) into the Fourier plane (FE), multiplied there by an amplitude filter (AF), and transformed by means of the Fourier lens (FL2) into the image plane (BE). The amplitude filter consists of a large number of concentric, alternately transparent or opaque circles. There is then produced in the image plane (BE) an image of the test object on which is superimposed a system of alternately bright and dark curves. Each curve indicates for the test object sites with a constant gradient of the optical path length, from which the geometry of the test object can be determined. Typical applications: - Determination of the lens centre point, - Inspection of contact lenses, - Inspection of progressive lenses. <IMAGE>
